 Synopsis
A comedy from BBC about the Metropolitan Police's "Cold Case" department. The head of the team is female DS Sandra Pullman, and since it involves old cases, they decided to recruit three retired detectives: Jack, who buries his deceased wife in the backyard and chats with her every day; Gary, a once notorious womanizer who now has dinner with his three ex-wives and four daughters; and Brian, a perfectionist, former alcoholic, and conspiracy theorist. The title comes from an old saying: "You can't teach an old dog new tricks." However, these old guys successfully use their experience and skills in the new era, solving those difficult cases with seemingly outdated techniques.
