Hellboy (played by David Harbour) was originally a monster summoned by the Nazis as a biological weapon, but he was fortunate to be rescued and helped by Professor Broom (played by Ian McShane). Under the professor's guidance and training, Hellboy gradually grew up and later joined the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, becoming the bureau's ace warrior. One day, the witch Blood Queen (played by Milla Jovovich), who had been suppressed for a thousand years, broke free from her confinement.
