Hugo Llor is a 12-year-old boy who spends most of his time on the streets. His days are often spent in the shipyards, dreaming of becoming a shipbuilding craftsman, even though his future is uncertain. Hugo's life is quite challenging; he is a very lonely boy, and his mother has to stay away from him. However, he has the support and protection of a respected elderly man named Arnau Estanyol.
