This film is adapted from the Russian literary giant Tolstoy's work of the same name, 'War and Peace.' It centers around the emotional stories of the noblewoman Natasha (played by Clemence Poesy), the nobleman Pierre (played by Alexander Beyer), and Prince Andrei (played by Alessio Boni), and revolves around the 1812 Patriotic War of Russia, depicting significant events in Russian society and various aspects of life from 1805 to 1820. Russian society experienced the era of war and peace, and the three protagonists found meaning in life through the war. This new version of 'War and Peace,' produced with a budget of 26 million euros from six countries including Russia, Italy, the UK, France, Poland, and Spain, took two years to shoot across Poland, Lithuania, Australia, and Russia. The film again brings Tolstoy's monumental masterpiece 'War and Peace' to the screen, featuring a diverse international creative team with a distinct global flavor.
