Gun and Saen are the prized students of Professor Akanee, and they both received the professor's protective charms (short sticks). The professor granted Saen the lion's claw spike and Gun the tiger's tooth spike. He told both of them that they have the right to control the spikes, and they could be unbeatable, unless they kill each other. Gun and Anchan were once in a relationship, while Dokmai had a crush on Gun, but Dokmai was unaware that Saen secretly liked her. Gun's father, however, did not want his son to associate with Saen. Therefore, Gun's father told him that if he passed the police exam, he would be allowed to get engaged to Dokmai, which made both Gun and Anchan very sad. Gun passed the police exam, but during his duty, he clashed with a criminal, causing Saen's father to get shot. Gun helplessly went to prison, which also caused Saen to develop a tremendous hatred for Gun. After Gun was released from prison, Saen's father was killed by Gun, and his mother and sister were taken away by Saen. This marked the beginning of Gun's quest to find his wife (ex-girlfriend), seek revenge, and uncover the truth...
