Alan Dale plays General Rysen, who leads humanity to a phased victory in the Extermination War. He now rules over Vega (formerly Las Vegas), one of the four remaining human cities after the war. Vega is completely militarized, and social classes are strictly maintained. Rysen must do his utmost to maintain social stability and handle political affairs. Meanwhile, he also needs to ensure that his daughter Claire does not get into trouble. Tom Wisdom portrays Michael, the most outstanding warrior of the Archangel Battalion (played by Paul Bettany in the film), who helped humanity defeat the Archangel Battalion during the Extermination War.
