Laura (played by Alicia Vikander) has a father who dedicated his life to researching ancient tombs. When Laura was still young, her father disappeared during an adventure. Years have passed, and Laura has always refused to accept the news of her father's death, as well as to take over her father's business empire.By chance, Laura discovers her father's adventure notes; he had hoped that Laura would burn these papers, but in order to find her father's whereabouts, Laura decides to seek out the island recorded in the notes. Laura meets a man named Lu Ren (played by Wu Yanzu), and together they embark on their journey. As soon as they arrive on the island, Laura and Lu Ren encounter Mathias (played by Walton Goggins), who has always been at odds with Laura's father, along with his team of mercenaries. Mathias is determined to find the ancient tomb and has killed Laura's father for not revealing any information. Now, Laura has also fallen into his grasp. What fate awaits her?
