This drama is adapted from a manga of the same name, telling the story of the universally acknowledged handsome guy and star of the IT department, Yamaguchi Daisuke (played by Ryusei Fujii), who has been popular since his school days but is unaware of it. He is cool and not very interested in women, but after meeting Sato Kaede (played by Ayaka Konno), who has been transferred to the sales department, he develops a strong infatuation with her. Although Kaede, who is not good at love, cares about Yamaguchi, she has not been able to convey her feelings for two years. One day, Kaede accidentally gets locked in the hallway at the company at night, and is saved by Yamaguchi, who happens to pass by. She unexpectedly ends up at his place.
