The interview continues in the second season. In 2022, vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (played by Jacob Anderson) recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (played by Eric Bogosian). After conspiring to kill the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (played by Sam Reid) in 1940, Louis embarks on an adventure through Europe with novice vampire girl Claudia (played by Delainey Hayles), as they explore the old world's vampires and the vampire theater in Paris. It is here that Louis first meets the vampire Armand (played by Assad Zaman). It turns out that their courtship and sexual relationship will have devastating consequences in both the past and the future, while Molloy seeks to uncover the truths buried in memory.
