Fifteen years ago on Halloween, six-year-old Michael (played by Will Sandin) from Haddonfield killed his sister with a kitchen knife. When people found him, he was staring blankly at the sky with blood on his hands, and no matter how they questioned him, he remained in that position without moving. As a result, Michael was sent to a mental institution. There, the doctors tried their best and used various methods, but Michael continued to stare at the sky without moving. Until December 30, 1978, he seemingly heard some kind of calling, stole the keys from the mental institution, and stealthily returned to his hometown of Haddonfield. A new killing spree was about to begin...
