Lee Sun-kyun will star in Apple TV+'s first Korean original series "Dr. Brain" (tentative title). The series will be written and directed by Kim Ji-woon ([The Spy]), and is adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a brain scientist who is obsessed with developing a new technology to explore consciousness and memory. When his family becomes the victim of a mysterious accident, his life spirals into chaos. He uses his technology to extract memories from his wife's brain to piece together what his family went through and the reasons behind these events. The show is produced by Studioplex and Bound Entertainment, companies under YG, and has already started filming, with plans to premiere later this year.
