 Synopsis
Living in an apartment she relied on was raided, her friend was detained, and sex worker Alanis, with her one-year-old child, had to temporarily stay at a relative’s clothing shop. Selling herself is the skill she has to fight for survival space for herself and her son. With her heart set on rescuing her friend and protecting her son, can she find her dignity and belonging in the wild and perilous Buenos Aires? The humiliation from society, the constant risk of being arrested, and the dangers and violence encountered in sex work are presented through a linear narrative by the director without a critical lens, showcasing the various hardships a female sex worker may face. Even in the brutal urban jungle, Alanis still confronts everything with gentleness and strength.
