In 1930s Shanghai, the Japanese were arrogant and overbearing. The dojo owner Huyuanmu designed a plan to poison the legendary hero Huo Yuanjia (portrayed by Liu Jiahui). Chen Zhen (played by Shi Tianlong) rushed back to Shanghai to pay homage to his master. The audacious behavior of the Japanese was something that the hot-blooded Chen Zhen could not tolerate. He ventured into the Hongkou dojo alone and easily defeated Huyuanmu and his subordinates. With this, he believed that the death of his master must have sinister motives.The beautiful junior sister (played by Wan Qiwen) turned out to be a spy sent by the Nanjing government.
