In the mid-1980s, in the cold town of Hakodate in Hokkaido, lived a beautiful and charming woman. The mixed-race woman, Noda Kaoru (played by Misaki Ito), with her Russian heritage, had skin as white as snow and was as beautiful as a flower, making her a stunning sight in this small town. Kaoru fell in love with a fisherman named Akagi Kunichi (played by Koichi Sato), whom she met by chance, and eventually moved to the small fishing village of Namematsu where Kunichi lived, starting a life of living together as fishermen.
