The film mainly tells the pure love story set in a school involving a neat freak baron, who is a top student from a Southeast Asian country, and his classmate, a girl with poor grades who has a peculiar obsession with smells. The baron, Huang Fujun, is a top student in the elite class of the Bonisia Adult Business Training School. However, due to his cleanliness and pursuit of perfection, he has poor social skills and has been unable to become the president of any club despite repeated attempts. Huang Fujun wants to seize the last opportunity to run for election before graduation and accepts a challenge from his rival Bai Su'an to cohabit peacefully with his new seatmate, Ruan Miming, for one month. However, the grassroots girl Ruan Miming is a quirky poor student and a smell enthusiast, making her the perfect nemesis for Huang Fujun. Their first meeting ends in an unpleasant encounter. At first, Huang Fujun tries to tolerate Ruan Miming's various bad habits and kindly helps her improve her grades, but she perceives his help as provocation. Huang Fujun is forced to impose strict measures on Ruan Miming, which leads to her creative counter-attacks.
