The story takes place in the red-light district Tang Lou, where all men fantasize about it. Sister Li (played by Wu Jiali) is the manager of the building, overseeing the tenants living there and collecting their rent. One day, Sister Li learns that the building is about to face demolition, which means that many girls living here will lose their homes and means of survival. Sister Li unwaveringly enters into a fierce struggle against the demolishers.
