 Synopsis
This film is adapted from Wang Shuo's novel 'Live a Little and Die a Little.' After getting married, Du Xiaojue (played by Xu Jinglei) and Wang Yi (played by Tong Dawei) have all the issues that were shrouded in shadows during their acquaintance and courtship exposed to the sunlight. Du Xiaojue believes that love is above all, and marriage is an extension of love, demanding Wang Yi to say 'I love you' every day in a 'nervous' manner. Conversely, Wang Yi sees love as no different from treating someone to a meal; whether it's there or not after marriage means the same to him, and what annoys him the most is to verbally say 'I love you' to Du Xiaojue. Thus, Du Xiaojue's jealousy and complaints become spices to adjust their mundane married life, while her conflicts and departures are attempts to prevent their days from turning stagnant.
