Qing (Liu Ximing) participates in a martial arts competition with his master Zhong (Lin Shangwu), battling against each other. Zhong secretly schemes to ensure his victory, while Qing possesses great martial skills and a pure character, unaware of the deceit. In this boxing match, Qing meets Jill (Lu Shuyi), a wealthy girl who has returned from England, and they begin a romance. In order to obtain Jill's family fortune, Zhong resorts to schemes to frame Qing, forcing him into a desperate situation.
