 Synopsis
The Qiyifang Circus is touring in Malaysia, and the members accidentally hear rumors about treasures left by the Japanese during World War II. Under the leadership of flying knife expert Zhang Dachu (played by Zou Zhaolong), a group of five murder treasure seekers. A small-time character, Sunny (played by Aaron Kwok), who longs to become a knife master, follows them and witnesses the entire murder process. He is forced to go down the hole with them but unknowingly activates a biochemical weapon left by the Japanese army. After unimaginable hardships, Sunny manages to escape but ends up in a strange condition. Meanwhile, a series of robberies occur in Hong Kong. The perpetrators are unarmed and brutal, and they are none other than Zhang Dachu and others who have mutated due to poison gas exposure. This string of events shocks the entire city, prompting the police to invite mainland experts Sun Hao (played by Wu Jing) and Cheng Xiuhua (played by Zhang Jingchu) to assist in the investigation. Sunny also transforms into a righteous messenger fighting against evil...
