Chinese police officer Zhang Baosheng (played by Zhang Jianting) comes to Hong Kong to hunt down the thieves Lin Xiangyang and Lin Xiangdong. He is coordinated by inspector Li Shaoming, and through this, Zhang Baosheng meets Hong Bamei and her friend Suqi (played by Kwan Siu Mei). Hong Bamei's uncle, Hong Jinhai, was once involved in the gang underworld and is familiar with its complexities. He agrees to help Zhang Baosheng find the whereabouts of the wealthy businessman Ouyang Fu, as Lin Xiangdong and Lin Xiangyang are already in contact with him to sell stolen goods.Unfortunately, the enemies are too cunning, and in a confrontation with the two thieves, Zhang Baosheng suffers a setback. Not only that, but Lin Xiangdong and Lin Xiangyang also kidnap Suqi. To rescue Suqi, Zhang Baosheng and his group engage in a chaotic battle with the kidnappers, ultimately leading to good triumphing over evil, with Suqi safely returned and the criminals apprehended. Zhang Baosheng and Hong Bamei develop a sincere relationship in the midst of danger.
