Synopsis

In 1983, the haze that lingers over North Yorkshire, England has not dissipated for a long time.On this day, a little girl with an angelic face disappeared. This incident made people wake up again the nightmare that had been forgotten for nearly ten years.In 1974, a little girl named Claire Campray disappeared and was eventually killed.Soon, Mike, with a sickly pale cheek, pleaded guilty and was sentenced.Everything seems to be over, and now this similar case has happened, making people realize the abnormality of the old case that has been ill for many years.On the one hand, lawyer John Piggart (Mark Addy) serves as Mike's lawyer and is preparing to file an appeal; on the other hand, police officer Morrissey (David Morrissey) also re-examines the old case.In front of them was dark and terrifying darkness as deep as eternal night... This film is adapted from four suspense novels by David Peace (the titles of the year: 1974, 1977, 1980, and 1983, collectively known as Red Riding Quartet).
