The middle-aged stage actor Jiafu discovered an affair his wife, who is a screenwriter named Yin, was having. However, he quietly closed the door and left, as if nothing had happened, continuing to live harmoniously and affectionately with his wife as usual. It wasn't until his wife's death that Jiafu was unable to be honest with her, which became a knot in his heart. Subsequently, still mourning, Jiafu began preparing for the play 'Uncle Vanya,' seeking to immerse himself in work. Actors of different nationalities repeatedly studied the script under Jiafu's guidance in their native languages, incorporating sign language expressions that were deeply moving. The theater hired a female driver named Duli for Jiafu, who picked him up every day to take him to the rehearsal venue. Duli was quiet but an excellent driver. As they spent time together, Jiafu gradually shared his inner world with Duli, who also had a secret past she was reluctant to face. During their final journey home, their traumas were openly addressed, and their embrace and comfort allowed them to re-examine the past. A sense of solace and relief rose within their hearts.
