Synopsis

NJ (Wu Nian-Zhen) is a principled businessman who lives in a regular apartment in Taipei with his wife Min-Min (Jin Yan-Ling), daughter Ting-Ting (Li Kai-Li), son Yang-Yang (Zhang Yang-Yang), and grandmother. After a troublesome wedding of his brother-in-law, his life becomes even more chaotic when his grandmother suddenly suffers a stroke and falls into a coma. Min-Min runs back and forth between the company and home, often feeling drained; Ting-Ting feels guilty about her grandmother's stroke and realizes midway through her relationship that she is merely a substitute; NJ faces numerous troubles as his company is on the brink of bankruptcy, yet he refuses to let go of the worthless pride in others' eyes. Among the family, it seems that only Yang-Yang has no worries, as he calmly takes pictures of various people's backs, helping them develop another set of eyes, but Yang-Yang's simple words reveal deeper sorrow.
