Jiang Lishen (played by Tang Wenlong) is born with the ability to see ghosts and follows the underworld big shot, Zhixiong, as his job. He is kind-hearted and always willing to help others. One day, he unexpectedly encounters the wandering soul of Zhong Taixun, who is looking for a substitute. Unable to bear seeing it trapped in the realm of no return, he saves Yingying. However, this good deed disrupts the laws of yin and yang and angers the malevolent spirit Zhong Tai, who should have been at rest.
