Hong Kong taxi drivers often encounter ghosts at night. For example, night driver Lam Chung-fat (played by Louis Koo) almost gave a ride to a female ghost (played by Law Lan) to Tsuen Wan, while his colleague 'Fast Car Chief' (played by Leung Yu-yang) encountered a woman disguised as a ghost to scam him, and later gave a real ghost a ride to the WoHop Shek crematorium. Lam Chung-fat, a compulsive gambler, is pursued by debt collectors after work. To avoid his gambling debt, he has no choice but to move into a cheap house on Ghost Street with his wife (played by Lee Wai-man) and son, An-zi, but discovers that the house is haunted, causing An-zi to cry every night. Lam Chung-fat makes a vow to the ghost in the house (played by Ng Yi-kiang), promising to share everything he has if the ghost helps him achieve financial success. The next day, Lam Chung-fat finds a set of mysterious numbers in the house, and from then on, he wins every bet; however, what Lam Chung-fat did not foresee is that the ghost wants to take not only his wealth but also his wife and son... This film is the fifth installment in the 'Yin Yang Road' series.
