The dream of turning his life around through big projects is always overshadowed by his retired soldier father, Fan Yingxiong (played by Fan Wei). Fan Xiaobing (played by Da Peng) is slick-tongued and loves to fool people, while Yingxiong is upright and skilled in martial arts, leading to constant clashes between them. Liu Wen (played by Zhang Tianai), a small boss of a braised meat shop, has known Xiaobing for ten years; they share a friendship that has not yet blossomed into romance, and she is the only person with whom Xiaobing is willing to be sincere. Xiaobing owes money to the big boss, OK Brother (played by Ren Dahua), and is tormented by the debt collector Fang Jian (played by Qiao Shan), facing continuous misfortunes, and is threatened by the fierce Gou Ge (played by Liang Long). With no other choice, Xiaobing turns to his father for money, unaware that Yingxiong is currently trying to dodge the aggressive pursuit of their neighbor Wu Xianxian (played by Wu Junmei). Little do they know, Xiaobing has already set up a ridiculous and humorous plan targeting his own father...
