Jenny (played by Jessica Raine) is a young nurse who has just started her career, filled with beautiful fantasies about her future and profession. She traveled a long distance to her future workplace, only to find, to her surprise, that it was a convent. The small shock lasted only a moment; with the help and companionship of Sister Evangeline (played by Pam Ferris) and Sister Monica (played by Judy Parfitt), Jenny quickly became familiar with her work environment and new life. As time went by, Jenny was about to face her first challenge since starting her job - caring for a woman who had given birth prematurely due to a fall. Will Jenny be able to complete such a daunting task? What kinds of people and events will she encounter in the convent?
