Mr. Lee, the mysterious boss of South Korea's largest drug trafficking organization, is extremely arrogant. He recently eliminated useless executives through an explosion incident, even killing key members who narrowly escaped in the police station. Drug enforcement team leader Zhao Yuanhao (played by Zhao Zhenxiong) rescues Xu Yongle (played by Ryu Jun-yeol), who was working as a liaison within the organization, from the explosion site. Through interrogation, Zhao learns that Xu was originally responsible for contacting the drug lord Lin (played by Kim Joo-hyuk), who is based abroad, and became inadvertently involved in the organization's purge after returning home early. Team leader Zhao decides to play a double game between Mr. Lee and Lin to uproot the drug trafficking organization. This process is fraught with danger and ongoing crises, while the true intentions of the real Mr. Lee have yet to reveal themselves... This film is a remake of the original work of the same name by Johnnie To.
