Eric is living quite an ordinary life in the Philippines as an animator. He lives in a nice but somewhat messy apartment, has a well-paying job, and someone he likes. However, Eric's most noticeable feature is that he has no mouth—literally no mouth. One day, he receives a call from his mother Rosalinda, who asks him to check on his seemingly missing uncle. However, he discovers that his uncle has been dead for several days. While still in shock, a familiar alien appears, wanting to take Eric away from Earth. 'Iti Mapukpukaw' is a Philippine Ilocano language animated film that tells the story of the twists and turns in Eric's life following the arrival of a familiar alien and the death of his uncle; both events prompt Eric to begin reflecting on the past and unravel the entanglement of his memories.
