In the 16th century, the Onin War broke out in Japan, and the flames of war quickly spread across the country. Continuous conflicts led to widespread suffering and displacement among the people. It was a time when demons took advantage of the chaos, wreaking havoc on earth. Led by the Demon King, the original ancestor of vampires, they slaughtered the living. In contrast, a group of vampire hunters emerged to fight against these demons, struggling against each other for nearly 400 years. In the 1970s, the hunter group existed under the name 'Red Shield,' with one particularly outstanding hunter, a girl named Sayaka Fujimoto (played by Jun Ji-hyun). Sayaka, born from the union of a vampire and a human, appears to be a typical 16-year-old high school girl, but in reality, she is a vampire hunter nearly 400 years old. She is tasked with infiltrating an American school inside a U.S. military base, where she meets General's daughter Allison Miller (played by Allison Miller) and saves her from the vampires. The original ancestor and his followers are restless, and after hundreds of years of enmity with the hunters, they are finally set to settle the score...
