He Li Wang (played by Fan Shaohuang) has extraordinary strength since childhood. Under the guidance of the family friend and ghost (played by Danbo Zhelang), he learns pure hard qigong. Li Wang's girlfriend Yingying accidentally stumbles upon a drug deal, and the drug dealers capture Yingying, causing her to fall to her death. Li Wang kills the drug dealer in revenge for his girlfriend, and as a result, he is imprisoned in Kokubun Prison. In 2001, the prison is privatized for profit, and the inmates suffer brutal treatment. Li Wang cannot tolerate the bullying of the weak by the North Warehouse killer, Cat, and injures him severely, angering the North Warehouse king, Ming Hai. The deputy warden, One-eyed Snake, instigates a confrontation between the two. Li Wang defeats Ming Hai, and from then on, he becomes embroiled in battles against the other three kings of Kokubun Prison's fourth warehouse: Huang Quan, Tai Shan, and Bai Shen. Li Wang burns down the poppy fields in the prison, infuriating the warden (played by He Jiajun), who has just returned from vacation. The warden, who also practices hard qigong, will become Li Wang's most formidable enemy...This film is adapted from the Japanese manga of the same name.
