The story takes place in Lyon. Marie (played by Anouk Grinberg) is a prostitute, unlike other women who engage in this awkward profession out of necessity; Marie genuinely loves her work. Regardless of how ugly or old her clients are, she serves them with wholehearted care and tenderness, ensuring they leave satisfied. By chance, Marie meets a homeless man named Francis (played by Olivier Martinez) who is sleeping on her doorstep. Kind-hearted Marie not only takes Francis into her home but also warms his cold heart with delicious food and her body. Marie and Francis fall in love, and she willingly exchanges her body for money to satisfy Francis's various requests, as he has nothing to do. However, good times do not last long; Francis's flaws begin to surface. He not only shows disdain for Marie's beloved profession but also develops a flirtatious relationship with a nail technician. Soon, Francis ends up in jail for breaking the law, and at the same time, Marie finds herself at a crossroads in her life.
