Kueisa (played by Guy Grosso) has dedicated his entire life to the police force, a profession he deeply loves. However, no matter how capable a police officer is, they must eventually face the day of retirement. Every day at home after retirement is torture for Kueisa; he stays indoors, his temper explosive, and his emotions on the brink of depression. Just at this moment, Kueisa's old friends Rabel (played by Louis de Funès) and Toliwell (played by Michel Modo) appear before him, bringing good and bad news — their old comrade Focas (played by Jean Lefebvre) has lost his memory due to an accident, and only they, his brothers who once shared life and death together, can help him remember the past. This news immediately revives Kueisa's spirits, and the group sets off towards the nursing home where Focas is located.
