Dr. Mills Bennell (played by Kevin McCarthy) is on a business trip to attend a medical meeting. During this period, he received a call from a nurse (played by Jean Willes) saying that the number of patients in his town has increased, and Dr. Bennell had to hurry back.But the situation in the town made him suspicious. When Bennell came back, he found that most outpatient appointments had been cancelled, and the patients who came to see the doctor made him feel unfamiliar.Although the patients could tell the details of life in the town one by one, Bennell always believed that they were not the original residents.
