Fei Ren (played by Zhou Jialuo) and his sworn sister Gao Qiang (played by Wang Hao'er) become constables at the Lu Ren County government for their wages. The newly appointed head constable Huang She (played by Cao Yonglian) sends Fei Ren deep into the lawless area of the Yi Jiang Palace to search for a missing undercover agent.
