Singer Zhu Jinmei (played by Sammi Cheng) often receives anonymous threatening letters, which makes her manager extremely anxious. As a result, the police send Lai Shugen (played by Leon Lai) to disguise himself as a homosexual and act as Jinmei's caretaker to protect her.
