Remo Manfredini is a legendary jockey, but his self-destructive behavior is starting to overshadow his talents and threatens his relationship with his girlfriend Abral. On the day of the most important race of his career, he suffers a serious accident, which could have enabled him to pay off his debts to the mob boss Sirena.
