In 1948, faced with the fake democracy and real dictatorship of Chiang Kai-shek's Kuomintang reactionaries, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China invited democrats to the liberated areas to hold a political consultative conference for peaceful nation-building. Under the leadership of Mao Zedong as the core of the first generation of party leadership, through practical actions in various aspects including politics, military, economy, and people's livelihoods 'serving the people,' they ultimately garnered support from various democratic parties, social classes, and factions represented by figures such as Li Jishen, Shen Junru, Zhang Lan, Song Qingling, Huang Yanpei, Liang Sicheng, and even senior generals of the Kuomintang uprising like Fu Zuoyi and representatives of the Republican talks like Zhang Zhizhong. They recognized the new hope that the Communist Party of China brought to the Chinese nation, and from then on, they consciously chose and genuinely supported the leadership of the Communist Party, uniting and cooperating, sharing weal and woe, working together to establish an independent, democratic, peaceful, and unified new China. The vast lands of China flow eastward, hearts across the world are united, marching towards a new journey of great national rejuvenation!
