This story is based on real events. The 'Defense Battle Team' in the story is made up of key members from a security company in Africa, composed of Chinese individuals. They not only face the daily separation from their loved ones back home but also endure life-and-death challenges while on missions. Thus, the team leader Yang Dong decided to lead the Defense Battle Team on a long journey home, to embrace the motherland they long for, China. On their way home, the team encounters armed bandits slaughtering innocent civilians, and Team Leader Yang Dong leads everyone to rescue the innocent refugees and a girl named Nata. After that, the Defense Battle Team engages in a bloody battle with the bandits, but they are unable to shake off the pursuit and ambushes. In a critical moment, facing the ruthless threats of the bandit leader, Team Leader Yang Dong responds firmly: 'We will not bow to evil. There is a saying in my hometown: If you want to talk, our door is wide open; if you want to fight, we will accompany you to the end.' Ultimately, the Defense Battle Team protects Nata and successfully reaches the border, and they also regroup and carry the ashes of their brother as they embark on the journey back east.
