Synopsis

In a certain apartment in Koshigaya, Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, the body of a woman who had been strangled was discovered. The victim was Michiko Oshiya, who worked at a cleaning company and lived in Shiga Prefecture. The resident of the murder scene, Mutsuo Yoshikawa, is also missing. Detectives from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division, including Junpei Komiya (played by Junpei Kumabata), cannot find any connection between Yoshikawa and Oshiya, which has led the investigation into a deadlock. It was found that Oshiya had come to Tokyo to visit her classmate, director Hiromi Asakari (played by Nanako Matsushima), but no connections were discovered between Hiromi and Yoshikawa either. At this point, a burned body was found near the crime scene, and Matsuya suspects a connection between the two cases.
