The white-clad young hero Lei Li (played by Jiang Dawei), known for his "Mandarin Duck Twin Swords" skills, was framed by Long Yizhi (played by Gu Feng) and, after disabling his right arm, withdrew from the martial arts world. He took on a new identity and worked as a waiter in a small restaurant, enduring a life of humiliation and bullying. The blacksmith's daughter, Ba Jiao (played by Li Jing), who had developed feelings for him, often encouraged him to reshape his image, but Lei Li was unable to overcome his inner demons. After meeting the elegant young hero Feng Junjie (played by Di Long), Lei Li regained confidence in life and promised to live a life of seclusion with Feng Junjie after he fulfilled his agreement with Long Yizhi.
