In the chaotic times of the Qing Dynasty, Zhang Wenxiang (played by Jiang Dawei), Huang Zong (played by Chen Guantai), and Ma Xinyi (played by Di Long) met and became sworn brothers by chance. Ma Xinyi was chosen as the elder brother, while Zhang Wenxiang became the third brother.
