Synopsis

In 1987, just a few days after turning 10, Carl Merryweather made local news because he claimed that extraterrestrial beings had come to visit him. Despite other people's testimonies supporting his claims, the authorities took no action. Nearly 30 years later, Carl embarked on a mission to reconnect with the extraterrestrial beings he calls 'Sky People,' both to prove the authorities wrong and to discover the purpose of his existence. Through a mix of family home videos, news clips, and interview footage, 'Sky People' (working title) is a bold and compelling study of UFO subculture.
