In the vast universe, a commercial spaceship named Hunter is on a long journey. Onboard are 40 passengers, including the violent criminal Richard Riddick, played by Vin Diesel. When they reach the Tangier star system, a sudden accident severely damages the ship, causing a rapid loss of air and ultimately forcing it to crash land on a hot and desolate planet. The immense impact during landing nearly tore the ship apart, resulting in numerous casualties. The survivors find themselves in this unfamiliar land, where the harsh natural environment tests everyone. Despite their different ethnic backgrounds and professions, they must put aside past grievances and unite. They not only have to fight against three suns in the sky but also remain constantly vigilant against dangers lurking in the darkness...
