Ten years ago, geological expert Li Zilan neglected her family due to work, leading her husband Gu Xingzhi to leave with their son Gu Yao. Just then, the leader of the research team, Bazel, rushed over with weapons intending to forcefully hunt the gorilla. A storm descended, causing a landslide in the wilderness, putting all the members of the research team camping below in great danger. While fleeing, Bazel was about to be crushed by a boulder when the injured gorilla chose to save him, which deeply moved everyone. Gu Yao finally returned home with his mother.
