Yamamoto Yosuke (played by Ichihara Hayato) is an ordinary high school student. One night, he accidentally witnesses a beautiful girl engaged in a fierce battle with a chainsaw-wielding maniac. Although the girl strikes true to the heart of the chainsaw maniac, he still manages to escape. The girl’s heroic demeanor captivates Yosuke, and he instantly falls in love, deciding to become her protector. The girl’s name is Yukizaki Eri (played by Kawai Emi), but even she doesn’t know why she is fighting the chainsaw man throughout the night; the only valuable clue is that this chainsaw man possesses a terrifying power that could destroy the world. Thus, Yosuke joins the late-night fight, experiencing life-and-death moments alongside Eri, and their feelings for each other slowly begin to grow.
