The gang leader "Principal" wants to retire from the underworld, but is betrayed by his girlfriend Xiaosao and his underling Ayi (played by Wu Qingzhe), leading to attempts on his life. The "Principal" reveals his Swiss bank password to his granddaughter Xiaoyu and gives her two halves of a U.S. dollar bill, claiming that if sent at a crucial moment, it could summon the protection of legendary underworld figures, the sharpshooter and the mastermind. In order to obtain the "Principal's" fortune, Ayi collaborates with the overseas leader Zhong Shengyi (played by Zeng Zhiwei), kills the "Principal," and searches for Xiaoyu's whereabouts. The police dispatch rookie officer Wang Xiaofei (played by Fang Lishen) to protect Xiaoyu, who also sends out a distress signal. Thus, the mastermind (played by Anthony Wong) and the sharpshooter (played by Francis Ng) return to the underworld. They not only have to outsmart and outfight Ayi, but also remain vigilant against the dangers coming from their surroundings.
