 Synopsis
Darth Vader (played by David Prowse) secretly captures Princess Leia's (played by Carrie Fisher) starship. In a critical moment, Leia commands the droid R2-D2 (played by Kenny Baker) to carry important information to the reclusive Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (played by Alec Guinness) for help. R2 successfully escapes the ship but is captured by Jawas while searching for Obi-Wan and sold to farmer Owen (played by Phil Brown), forcing R2 to flee again. The next day, after Luke (played by Mark Hamill), Owen's nephew, finds R2, they are attacked by three Tusken Raiders, but thankfully Obi-Wan arrives just in time to scare them off. Luke returns home to find that Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru (played by Shelagh Fraser) have been killed by the Imperial Stormtroopers pursuing R2, and he decides to follow Obi-Wan to learn the ways of the Force and become a Jedi. Obi-Wan hires the smuggler Han Solo's (played by Harrison Ford) Millennium Falcon at a high price, heading to Alderaan...
