Synopsis

In the future world, the Earth has erupted in a horrific nuclear war. The once-mighty superpower of the United States of America has been reduced to ashes in a series of self-destructive wars. Nowadays, with places like Washington at the center, tall walls isolate the nuclear-contaminated land from the outside, leaving only 800 million humans living in a closed space known as Mega-City One. Yet, humanity has never learned from its mistakes, and various violent crimes emerge incessantly, staining the ground with blood. During this time, a group of violent machines known as 'Judges' is established, with the cold and efficient Dredd (played by Karl Urban) being one of them. He takes on the training and assessment of the new recruit, Cassandra Anderson (played by Olivia Thirlby), and together they investigate a seemingly never-ending series of violent cases in the city. Amidst the various crimes, the super-criminal female leader, 'Ma-Ma' (played by Lena Headey), surfaces, becoming the greatest adversary for this duo of Judges...
