The drama mainly tells the story of two dramatic 90s singles who go from raising their children alone to living under the same roof. Qi Sile needs to secure the project order from Maolin to cover her daughter Xuanxuan's brain tumor surgery costs, and she tries to persuade Maolin's boss, Song Haoyu. Meanwhile, while helping his son Chenchen pick out a birthday gift, Song Haoyu discovers that Qi Sile has a brooch identical to Chenchen's. Through the clue of the brooch, Song Haoyu gradually confirms the relationship between Xuanxuan and Chenchen.
